जिन्हें गुस्सा आता है वो अकसर सच्चे होते हैं
हसीं के मुखौटे तो झूठे भी पहनते हैं,
और इन झूठे मुखौटे को इस कदर हम सच मान लेते हैं
कि सच्चे भी झूठ लगने लगते हैं...

इस सच और झूठ का फासले कुछ ऐसा है कि सब कुछ पल भर में तबाह कर दे
और महजीद हमें हमारी नज़रों में कुछ इस तरह
गिरा दे कि कभी उठने भी ना दे।
