Folklure #4
Museum of Morbidity

There is museum in the alpine forests of Norway I heard,
Which showcases the taxidermied bodies of dead
In the very positions they left their lives
Encased in glass, we see their final strife
I took a stroll on aisle of dead
Following where the curator led
A placard in hands, they all held
To read the reason for their death
"I was shot through head"
A headless one said.
"I was hacked to pieces"
Said one, dismembered.
"I ate poison" said
One who killed herself.
"He's right behind you",
A knife went through my chest.
The curator's hand, bloodied, touched
My neck and choked me out of breath.
The museum is cursed, they all say
Whoever visits, forever remains.

Folklure #3
Toxicology

Janet was working with dimethylmercury back then. Her reports had attracted quite many peers so far. She was a deemed and a proud professor. She removed her gloves, face mask and goggles to note down the observations. Her assistant knocked on the sterlized, clean room's door. She beckoned her assistant to come in. Along with her assistant, came in a housefly. Both of them exchanged words while the fly explored. Ricocheted by smells, it bounced back and forth between chemicals and flasks. Methyl amine attracted its attention. The sweet odor made the fly taste the few drops on the walls of the petri dish. Losing interest quickly, it perched on the lips of Janet.

Few weeks later Janet would feel weak. She would be in an immense pain. She would lose her balance and her speech slurs. Slowly her mind would go numb. Comatose and numb, she left the world with unfulfilled ambitions.

Rest room

"Excuse me", Karen said with her hands on Lilica's shoulders. "Can you show me the way to rest room?"
Lilica shyly took her to the restroom, away from the lively party that she's hosting.
"I took one too many drinks maybe", Karen shyly laughs. Lilica smiles awkwardly and opens the door.
They both get astonished to see a gentleman at the washbasin. "O aren't you too hairy to be in here handsome?" remarked Karen. Gentleman in tux didn't flinch. Lilica whispers that she will bring the security. Karen assures that there is no need. "My good upbringing doesn't let me be noisy mister. So you better leave before I lose my patience", Karen stated now, louder than before. The man in tux, busy washing his hands and shirt didn't pay attention.
Lilica hurriedly left to call security. Karen paced towards the man. The mirror before him revealed a bloody white shirt. Karen immediately screamed,"Murder!" loudly and tried to turn the man around to look at him.
His hands reached into kitchen sink, pulled out a glock and shot three bullets into Karen's torso. She fell like a timber, groaning. Her eyes met with the eyes of Lilica's sister in law, pretty dead.

Folklure #2
Raindrops

Nina volunteered to help her uncle in farming in her holidays. After a tiring day, she set her futon up and covered herself with sheets. Rain rapped at her ceiling. The irregular wooden tiles of the ceiling, often let raindrops slip into the house. Nina felt drops fall on her neck and face. She cursed her uncle under her breath and retracted herself inside her blanket. In a while, the blanket got drenched. With her sleep disturbed, she decided to move her futon a bit. She slowly crept out of her blanket. Above her was Droolfred, clinging to the ceiling beam, drooling at her.

Folklure #1

    The Droolfred

"Back in our village there was a demi demon called Droolfred. His mom was seduced by an Incubus. His body was that of a normal human and his face was bright red. He had an abnormally long face and had white horns. He was completely harmless.
Back when we were kids, we bathed in the river leading to our village. If a person bathes in the river butt naked, in evening, Droolfred would appear, yards away from the river bank. He would hide behind a tree and would drool continuously at the naked person. No reports of sexual or fatal assaults have ever been recorded. But Droolfred drooling at you, would have been a very terrifying and uncomfortable situation to be in....
