This damn season
poetry hangs on icicles,
refusing to drop.

I stand across
the gray morning,
fingers marking
forgotten shapes on
windowpane

a daisy,
two feets about to bounce,
a hand ~ stretched,

the waiting,
mirrored in the ice.

After all this time,
I still feel the perpetual presence
of your abiding absence more
than you itself.

All that I gave him back
were
his long poems
short of my breath
and a map
of the shortest route
to the longest death.

You and I get lost
Amidst the freezing wind
Chasing a mystical beat.

There are two ways you can get through pain.
You can let it destroy you or
You can use it as a fuel to drive you to dram bigger,work harder.

I'm the one to blame for my bad habit of blaming myself for everything.

In the quiet spaces between our conversations, I find the echoes of your presence, a dance of absence that speaks volumes of our connection.
