Friendship is like elastic band,
flexibility at every corner,
sometimes moves apart from each other,
but resumes its normal shape spontaneously after being stretched or compressed .

I refuse to be pulled and
stretched by you anymore.

I refuse to be defined by
length of the clothes I wear.
I refuse to be judged by my
moves and features.
I refuse to be pulled and
pinned to bed without
my consent.

A human mind is like an elastic
Stretches under tension, relaxes in calmness
Had it been like a plastic
We would have been like dead souls walking
With ragbag in our craniums

Yet my heart
is not elastic.
It cannot fit
else any into it,
'cos it holds you.

It's past midnight.
She comes today as well,
with a baggage I can't carry;
yet will have to, and break
another closed window
of my heart.
She'd then leave, while I
tread on the broken glass.
Bad blood leaves you, she says.
I wish sometimes I was elastic enough,
so that I wouldn't ever shatter;
but then I wonder from where
the light would have entered.
