स्त्री प्रकृति में है
या प्रकृति स्त्री में बसी
इससे बिल्कुल अनजान हूं मैं
पर जब माँ पौधों में ईश्वर देखती हुई
तुलसी, बरगद की पूजा करती हैं
तो यकीनन मुझे ये लगता है
स्त्री और प्रकृति में अटूट संबंध है
जब मैं पर्यावरण आंदोलनों में
स्त्री का संघर्ष पढ़ा करती हूं
तो यकीनन मुझे ये लगता है
स्त्री और प्रकृति की पीड़ा एक है
क्योंकि वो उपवास हो या आंदोलन
प्रकृति सरंक्षण सदैव
स्त्री वर्ग के केंद्र में रहा है

It elongates in fear
i gulp hard
you smile
and caressing my neck say
there there love
It won’t pain
Just–
my body, stunned, gushing blood,
runs amok a while
headless, decapitated I fall
realising that before me
lying in front is my own head.

Nocturnals were nurtured
With empowering silence.
A-lone was a lie.

What about the mother?

We have suckled her to bleed,
Now our misdeeds reek
More than the freshness that it once live..
As if she is cursed to bear us till eternity.
She not only bears the
burden of existence of diverse life.
But also goes through
the pain of losing it each moment.
One kills the other,
But what about the Mother?
Of whom we all are progeny.
Earth is one, Destroyers are many.

In my next birth
I shall be the dried up
Branches of tree.
The hopeless sojourn.

The most objectified
The most recognized
The most validated
The most valued
Yet so less cared for
Being from the past century.

Hold me like
Sand.

Water. Air, maybe. Cat too.
But don’t hold me like a
An Egg.
Or a bacon.
Not like silk worms
only held to be boiled alive.

Let’s just be short with it.
