Sometimes it is
Good enough to be
Carried off to
an unknown island
Through our words
And To remain there
As a Castaway
To be at solace's lap
Rather than to
Pant aimlessly
In the deep shallows of Life..

You tiptoe in silence and steal someone's heart;
You rudely wipe away forever those priceless tears ;
You shut down the book with a bang and toss it aside -
Unmindful of the hurt soul trapped inside.
One fine day, you're done with the chores that engaged you-
Or might be the other soul existing in another colourful book;
You look for the cast away one which had once captivated you;
You reach out, start reading savouring in delight the essence
of the soul that had been entombed;
You are happy the heart still echoes your rhythm;
The lively eyes that had once been teary
are now dry, dull and bleary;
The entrapped soul was jubilant; the saviour had arrived ;
Alas! Little did the soul know -cast aways forever remain so!
The book was again shut -
As it was the old version and tossed away.....
....for...ever...!

A devil's day with an evil play,
An innocent soul being a prey,
That victimized soul cast away,
In the depths of hell-far away.

Pots of shattered dreams
Cast away in the corner
To make way for new

Ever since you left my life, I felt as if I've been cast away and stranded in a desert. I wanted to live in a lovely forest but you chose not to let me in. You outcasted me.

Just for today, I wont be a castaway.
Just for today.

Washed up
Awoken by slapping water
Salt in my throat
Sand on my face
Tropical birds call out
Paradise beckons
Lazy palm trees wave
Search this micro continent
No human life
Castaway and alone
This beach my home.

To have an utmost belief in self.
To cast away all the gloom shadows.

Realise, not everyone
will feel like home
when around you.
For some, you may feel
like a prison which is why
they're trying hard to
break out. Set them free
and Let them off.
