बारिश तो कई दफ़ा हुई हमारी इस वीरान ज़िंदगी में,
पर तुमसे पहली बार मिलने पर जो बादल बरसे
ऐसा लगा मानो,
बरसो की ख़्वाहिशों को पंख लग गए हो
जैसे ख़ुदा ने सुन ली हो मन की फ़रियाद
और पहली मुलाकात मे तुमसे
वो पहली बारिश से भीगा कर
बोला हो हमसे..
यही है तुम्हारे सपनो का शहज़ादा।

कर दिया उस ख़ुदा ने कुछ ऐसा उस पल
हमारे नसीबो को मिलाने के लिए
भरी भीड़ मे, एक पल के लिए भी
हाथ तुम्हारा अलग ना होने दिया बाहों से हमारी
तुम्हे वो दर्द लगा हमारा
हमे वो आशीष, प्यार
और रज़ामंदी लगी ऊपरवाले की।
