हुए इस मोहब्बत में कैसे बेकार, याद है ?

तेरी बालकनी पर मेरी आँखों का पहरा याद है ।
भींगी जुल्फों में सिमटा तेरा वो चेहरा याद है ।

तेरे इश्क़ में सनम जमाना भुलाना भी याद है ।
हर बार तेरी गलियों में खो जाना भी याद है ।

तुझे देखकर आया वो हर अरमान याद है ।
मुझे आज भी तेरा पुराना मकान याद है ।

अधूरा इश्क़, अधूरा मुझे छोड़ जाना याद है ।
जिंदा शरीर में रूह का यूँ मर जाना याद है ।

मेरी ख्वाहिशों के पंखों का कतरना याद है ?
दरिया में डूबकर मेरा यूँ बिखरना याद है ?

अब्तर हुए हैं हम कितने मर्तबा वो याद है ?
फिर भी हो न सके तुझसे ख़फ़ा वो याद है ?

ग़ज़ल की कब्र पर लिखा मेरा बैत, याद है ।
तेरी यादों को समेटकर बनाया कैद, याद है ।

Every now and then , we r offered a bait...

People act according to their needs. Then, they create the justification. Politics are just like that. You throw a bait to someone who needs it, and give them the reason to take it.

Bait

You play so elegantly on the strings of my bleeding heart. A beautiful broken love song I tearfully watch and listen to. Unable to turn away from your breath taking smile, even as my whole world trembles in rhythm while I long to be a part of your crestfallen melody.

Sadly, I am forced to watch you from miles away, because if I were to take another step closer, the overwhemling torment and agony you burned into my hall of memories, would rush to welcome me back into its unbreakable embrace.

But even if I manage to avoid it, I would be stuck in an impossible game, racing towards you, but being chased by the monster who is never too far behind.

You are the light at the end of the tunnel, and yet you, you have caged me in, using me as bait. You left me to scream as the dark figure closes in on me.

I desperately crawl to the bars of my prison, where I am finally able to feel the warmth of your glowing fire on my ashen skin.
Before the shadows consume me,
Before I feel no more.

Bait.

A net is lying as still in the water
as the fisherman's eyes.
A tiger slows down, ears twitched
as a hunter approaches.
A bear circles around
a honey laden branch.
But the fisherman yawns and breaks the silence
he doesn't know that the last fish was eaten raw
by the same tiger that will now be shot
by the same hunter which will be chased
by the same bear that couldn't get his honey.

If only the bees were trapped in the fishing net.
