June 24:
One running lesson is very clear to me, before getting on the ground it looks extremely difficult if I can barely run 1km after having long distance run everyday. But with day-by-day, I've noticed that I can do that everyday, and the only way to make that happen is to move out of the comfort zone, embrace the pain, tie up the shoe laces, just put your foot down to take the first step on the ground. Start running. There is no other way, so better buckle up and get into action mode. ππ½ββοΈ
That being said, updates from today and how is it going so far.
June 24 : 30kms (15k+15k) : Avg. 5'18"
Total ππ½ββοΈ today for 2h40m (160mins)
Total Calendar ππ½ββοΈ 1-24June: 308kms β
Still 157kms left for 25-30June π
I've to run 26kms on an avg. for next 6 days.π

June 30:
Super happy to successfully complete the June Calendar Run Challenge on June 30. I ran 30kms on June 29, followed by a 25kms run on June 30, wrapping up the Phase 3 (June 21-30) by covering 256kms ππ½ββοΈ and running a total distance of 466kms from 1-30 June. During this period, I completed many Half Marathons, couple of 30Km runs, a Full Marathon, an UltraMarathon of 52kms, and my first ever Half Marathon inside the Airport.
With this challenge, not just I have found a new passion for long distance running but learned so much about myself and what I can possibly achieve when I decide to do something despite all the challenges that may come on the way. If there is a will, there is a way. This challenge taught me to handle everyday as it comes.
June 30: 25kms : Avg. 5'19"
Total Calendar ππ½ββοΈ 1-30June: 466kms β

June 29: 1st run in Jeju South Koreaπ°π·
Another incredible day, this visit to π°π· is so much more eventful that I can't even keep up with my own stories.π
The only option I was left with to run was from 10:30pm today and it's not some 10K run, I have to run 29km/30km today. Started around 10:30pm, and continued running till 1:20am KST next day (June 30) and completed 30kms. It was painful but I enjoyed the run alone so much in the beautiful resort near the coastline, watching Moon and listening to waves - it was simply amazing. Honestly, I wasn't sure if I'll be able to run today at all looking at the packed day but you know mind doesn't let you settle unless you do what you've set out to achieve.
June 29: 30kms : Avg. 5'28" : 2h50m
Total Calendar ππ½ββοΈ 1-29June: 441kms β
Still 24kms left to meet the goal of 465kms by June 30. π

No running, only flying and now quarantining.
Firstly, thank you for your love, support and encouragement on the previous post of Airport Half Marathon. ππ½ββοΈπ€β€οΈ
After a long transit flight in Doha Qatar, I arrived in Incheon/ Seoul, South Korea tonight. Most of the day was spent in flying, in the plane, in the airport, and managing all the logistics of traveling in the times of pandemic, following health and safety protocols and new normal guidelines of travels and stay in a new country.
Anyways, no change in the Calendar Run Challenge status from yesterday.
