ತರತರದ ನಾರುಗಳಿಂದ ಹೆಣೆವುದು ಗೂಡು
ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳ ಸಾಲುಗಳೇ ಇವುಗಳ ನೆಲೆಬೀಡು .

तोड़ दीं खुद की हर एक बंदिशें,
इश्क़-ए-दरबार में अपना नाम तो कीजिए।
क़दम रख दिया है चाहत की सरहदों में,
अब कोई पैग़ाम तो सलीके से दीजिए।

Is it not a wonder?
The kind of certainty an object can hold.
How the tree sways in the wind,
Sure-footed in its grasp of the earth.

And then there's me,
Oscillating between unconscious and reality,
Holding in my palm the precious last of my sanity.
I fist it until it cracks,
And my horror bleeds out.

Life looked at me and said; how good you look friend.
I said, you too do wonders.

I wonder how any one is easily accepting things written by someone at some point in time but has a problem in accepting who one is.

I love to look at that tree and see,
A bird fixing its nest,
Another bringing food,
Little eggs waiting to be hatched.

Evenings mark their love.
They come to rest together,
Chirping about the day.
They never forget their nest.

The day ends
And I wait to see them again,
Again, with the hope of watching them,
Watching them grow.
