Trying to stuff enough facts in my brain
To throw up on the answer sheets
So I can pass and not
pass out when May comes
Handing out the report card.

You stole my strawberries like every year

mangoes along with you
To replace them.

Midnights are frantic, mornings are hectic.
Why do questions seem so new during exams? 🙂

Mind's a jigsaw puzzle, some pieces always missing.
My wobbling ship has a missing crew during exams. ☹️

History dates - a terror, silly mistakes my emperor.
Last pages of my answer sheets, a zoo during exams.🙂

'Answer any five', yet my brain struggles and strives,
Throat dry, fingers rushing through during exams. 😟

The ticking time, how do I stitch to save nine?
My sanity a lost bird, that flew during exams. 😒

Somehow poems come barging in my mind.
I struggle to put them on curfew, during exams. 🥺

Why does it feel so steamy around, Moushmi?
'Coz my grey matter's cooking a stew during exams. 🙂
