We must End Sars
Bcos anytime the see us in our cars
Or drinking in bars
They start to inflict on us Scars
Forgetting we are stars
And this generation is ours.-
I'm pained, I'm crying
Do I have a future?
For success, I'm vying
Trying to heed my tutors
I strive for education
Just to achieve meticulation
Then, after the convocation
No work, like I'm on a vacation
But then I've got to look good
I don't want to feel like I'm suffering
I step out from the sun till the moon
The protectors keep bothering
No money on me, they still pestering
I committed no crime, they could find no evidence
Yet, my life, they keep threatening
Fingers on triggers, my life on the fence
I felt I could voice with words rhyming
Coupled like I'm dropping some bars
But that's what my brothers sisters are experiencing
Bottom line, all I want to say is #EndSARS-
NIGERIAN YOUTHS SYNERGY
As the revolution started, the youths came around,
A nice and solid teamwork is what the youths had.
With minimum backings and help, the protest went on,
Passion pushed them before funds could finally come.
Food, drinks and aid went round to all the protesters,
A clear sign that Nigeria failure is the fault of looters.
The youths did it and were accountable for every Kobo,
Central bank tried to stop the flow, but could not cope.
Now the revolution grows strongly in leaps and bounds,
Now, the government must obey us with their heads bowed-
... And when the grave has had its full
of the blood of innocent youths
whose call for freedom
was responded by ricochets
of blazing guns
hope quelled in the nest
ever before she learnt to fly.
We will take to the streets again
as dead men walking the earth
...when the grave has had its full of us.
-
The world is bleeding
The youth now receive corpses as souvenirs for daring to make a change
How much of an irony is it, that we sleep and sleep on in the hands of our security men
The street is littered with bodies of fighters;
Fighters for good governance
What a year!
We are yet to recover from a pandemic, now we face an endemic, a sore one
We simply bleed of blood, anarchy and sheer wickedness from the hands of the leaders...-
Mad men in disguise
No mercy in their eyes
Innocent citizens have paid the ultimate price
And waved this life goodbye.
Young men can't look good
Else they return home not in one accord
Because when the monsters are in the mood
They leave you in a pool of blood.
Demented men with guns
Killing innocent citizens for fun
If you're apprehended under the sun
You'll be grateful if you see dawn.
They're always on the hunt
Looking for preys to feed on
Harassing and inflicting deep cuts
As passers by can only look on.
The price for being alive
Is having zero fashion sense
It's best you abandon your style
As these monsters have no common sense.
End SARS is now the chant
Heard from victims and youths all around
Enough is now enough
It's time to end SARS now.

A Virus called SARS
It eats deep in our soul and body
It's fear alone kills the common man
It gripped us in the throat and strangled us
Even without being guilty of a crime
As small as it is,
It is more deadly than the vnom of a cobra
A parasite that cannot reproduce by itself
But being fuelled by the super powers
It's venom is sharper than that of a cobra
And it only attacks you for your appearance
SARS! That is what it answers to
A name that send fear to hearts of the youth
The death that kills legitimately in a country with Constitution
He who challenges its action invites his wrath.-
We have been trying to do things JUST as they did it
Not better Than They Did It...
WAKE UP!-
