Chapter 17
I was sleeping in my room when I heard some noise. It was 3 am in the night. I had heard 3 am was known for knock of the hour. Ghost were the strongest at that time.I was Terrified. I totally got into typical horror movie zone. I thought by the end of the corridor will be a white Saree female with open hair and burning candle. I could hear the standard horror music in my mind. But for a change there were four ghost on the terrace instead of one. My two PGs, dad and Avinash playing ludo. They were laughing and giggling around. I was ashamed of myself I couldn't believe I was so childish to get into the Bollywood horror zone. I sat with them for the rest of the night. As it is the next sun that we would see would be Sunday. Next morning was noon already. Avinash made tea for me whereas dad had gone for his therapy with uncle khurana. Two PGs had gone in their room. I enjoyed my tea after a long time. Dad was suppose to go with uncle for the play in the main city. Avinash and I spent quality time. We had fun all day. Nostalgia flashback were enough for the afternoon. He told that he wanted to talk to me in the evening and he even asked to be patient enough for the surprise.

Chapter 17
He was waiting for her downstairs. After a couple of hours, he thought that if they didn't leave soon, it would be a late night on the highway. So he went upstairs to wake her. The door was open so he didn't have to knock. He entered the room, the room was dark. As the curtains were drawn. He walked few steps till the window pane to draw back the curtains to allow light to get in the room. The moment he drew back the curtains, she opened her eyes. She sat on her bed asking him as to how he got into the room and when did he come in. She had more questions like how long had she slept for , where was he when she was sleeping etc.... He asked her to relax and he told her that he was in that room soon after she came in, as he had a master key to the room. And that he was right next to her for a couple of hours. She began to panic more and began to cry, calling him a cheat and telling him that he might have got something mixed in the lunch buffet, so that she would go unconscious and he could take advantage. She was blabbering that it was her greatest mistake to trust him. Even before she could complete this sentence, she saw a twinkle in his eye, the same one she saw

Chapter 17-1
'Good old days'
It was 27th of December, Rohan got up late and had his breakfast. He decided to call someone to make his last few days memorable for very fewest close ones. The first call he made was Manik. Despite ego and rivalry of months. He called and said,
"Hello, Manik?"
"Rohan?" mani replied immediately after recognising him
"How are you Manik?" enquired Rohan
"I'm good, how are you and what's going in life?" replied Manik
"I'm good, but there is something I want to tell as i dont enough time, so please come to my place" requested Rohan
Being once bestfriend and brother, Manik visited Rohan within half an hour.
Door bell rang Rohan opened door and Manik was at door. Both immediately hugged each other and Manik was shocked. He quickly asked him what happened. Rohan tells the entire story from beginning. Manik feels guilty of not being there when he needed him most. He also asked forgiveness of leaving him alone in life. Rohan forgives him with a big smile and says
"It's okay sometimes, some value can be learned only when they are away from us."
Manik replied, "And some times, people wantedly makes us apart."

Chapter 17
Part C - 'That's the end?'
Siddharth continues....
"Let me clear you, i kept every information about you. What all you did in jail, how you killed your Floor warden in jail, without getting caught. How you pressurized the police by using her daughter, to release you.
Anyways my information provider was your cell mate. Mr. Rajan mehra. I called him when your activists changed into aggressive. And that's when he told me that, you wanted to kill me, once you come out of jail and take the entire property in your name."
After saying this, Siddharth grabbed Rajiv's collar & turned their respective places. On which, Rajiv begged," Please, Siddharth don't kill me. I want to live, just let me live. I will do as you say, i will even work as clerk or cleaner in your office. But please leave me" after saying this he laughed and continued, "You thought i will beg you. I'm your brother, if you have an attitude, then I'm the creator of that...."
While Rajiv was continuing to say, Siddharth took the gun from Madhu in fraction of seconds and killed Rajiv. After which he even pushed him from 2350 ft above sea level, from which you can't even find a body.

Chapter 17
'Plans and plots'
Dinesh explains Aditya how he met Siddharth and Aditya asks Dinesh,
"Dinesh, since you have seen him and also met him. I want you to make an appoint with him"."Will that look like I'm getting down from my standards? enquired Aditya.
" In a way yes, but we can make it another way. Like you want to buy one of his land and you will act as buyer" replied Dinesh.
Aditya said, "That's great one and for that thing I will change my name and go as a buyer. Wow, Dinesh you're smarter than I ever thought"
"Thank you sir, I will arrange everything for the meeting. We can have it on Wednesday, before Diwali. By the way Sir, what's plan for Diwali as its coming on Sunday? Enquired Dinesh.
"Nothing much Dinesh, mostly would go on a small trip near by, with mom" said Aditya. After having few casual talks Dinesh left and Aditya started planning of his meeting with Siddharth as he was his rivalry at that time in market.
By next day, Aditya created his fake ID and other papers. Whereas Dinesh booked an appointment with Siddharth for Aditya in the name of Apoorva Agarwal.

Chapter 17-2
'Mistaken'
Manik's statement, makes Rohan discomfort.
"what does that means, Manik?" questioned Rohan. That's when Manik reveals the truth. He says,
"Anika loved you so much. She never wanted to hurt you. But 1 day, her parent blackmailed her that if she doesn't leave you, they will kill themselves. As they hated you. So inorder to save them, she sacrificed you. She called me and asked a help to break the bond. She knew that you will never let her go. As planned, you saw me and Anika kissing. But we didn't kiss, actually what you saw was from far. From near, we were far and a meter distance. But she got afraid and blamed my character by mistake, & things went worse. I thought to inform you,but your broken pieces never allowed me"
Rohan cried & also fall on Manik's feet for forgiveness. Manik pulled him up & hugged him. It seemed like lost brothers have met again. Then Rohan enquired about Anika & found she is happily married.
The bonding continued for the whole day and night with lots of memories. Rohan felt blessed and said Manik,
"I would love to be your brother in next birth & live with you forever,love you yaar(Friend)"
"I got your back for the end" said Manik

Chapter 17
Part B -'Enemy's enemy is always a friend'
While Rajiv was laughing, Siddharth too started laughing. Rajiv stopped laughing and questioned in confusion, "Why are you laughing?"
"Turn around Mr. Rajiv" replied Siddharth
Rajiv turned and a gun was pointing on him. It was none other than Madhu.
On seeing her, Rajiv was surprised a little bit.
For which Siddharth replied, "I believed you when you told me about her of that party, also believed about that truck incident. But when she saved mother's life. I tired to understand her and that's when i found out that you wantedly wanna frame her as a threat to my life. And i knew she didn't transfer the marketing tricks to Mr. Tejasvi. I just wanna hear your words against her."
On hearing all of this, Rajiv was shocked and couldn't utter a word.
On seeing his reaction, Siddharth said," What happened Mr. Rajiv, don't know how i got to know about your plan? You idiot, I'm your brother, so if i can kill our brother, sorry your brother for money 14 years ago. Then you can too, after all we have the same blood......
Every words of Siddharth was making Rajiv a bit uncomfortable.

Chapter 17
Part A -'Bitter truth'
Rajiv starts revealing all the truth behind his action
"1. I took the charges, because i know you will make the money and get rich.
2. I was not released because of good behaviour. I was released by none other than Aditya
3. I killed Aditya, because I knew if I kill him, then shares will be adding on yours as you had much wealth and power. So had to kill him. I felt sorry for him later.
Next, let me come to the actual scenes where i influenced, no, no, brain washed you. Actually I knew Madhu was kind so i used her against you. She was not about to kill you in that party. It was me, that's why on seeing me she ran away. As she knew me from Aditya's call records.
Next that mechanic he just came to repair Madhus's car not to kill us through truck. That truck was my plan. Also remember that Mr. Naman tejasvi, to whom Madhu shared marketing tricks, those were all my plan. I shared that from her system.
You see it way started before you even imagine. I was always a two step ahead than you and i will always be. You can never be more successful than me Mr. Siddharth, CEO, sorry EX CEO of the chauhan industries," by saying all this Rajiv laughed.
