Christmas is here
But Santa's nowhere to be seen
Why did we grow up?
Life has become very mean.

How I miss those days
When Christmas tree was alight
And there were presents
For everyone that night!

Socks were hung up
For Santa to deliver presents
Not all of them were pricey
Some were just a few cents!

We all sang the Carols
And welcomed God's Son
Everyone radiated happiness
And there was lots of fun!

With Carol's and sweets and prayers,
Remembering the joyous day with the bells ringing and priest saying and making cribs and decorating tree.

As the season approaches
the aroma of hot chocolate and
classic Christmas carols
are all that make my day complete

This year, the same time
That very exact moment;
As a drunken me starts to sway
To the addictive tune of
A never ending muse,
Holding your silhouette
Tight and warm
On a Christmas night,
Until everything else
Just fades away.

Welcome of December

Here comes the month of togetherness,
Family & friends with vibes of closeness.
Welcoming December with a cheers of wine,
Everyone danced and slept at nine.

Laying down on my couch in a cozy place,
Reading a novel by the fireplace.
Suddenly I heard the Christmas carols,
Singing my favourite Christmas songs.

I jumped into my window to look out,
A strong snowy wind came about.
My snowflake lashes looked white as snow,
As they weren't real though.
Those Christmas carols were like a reminder for Christmas,
Everyone is zestful and forgot their listless.
