And I wonder
if even the clouds also
have heart.
And of all the things
they could do,
they just made a bridge
connecting one heart
to the other
and
you called it a rainbow.-

Last night
I clutched the moonlight
lingering on my palm
its crisp beams
dancing against my skin.
If only I had known a way
to pass it down
to my eclipsed heart.-
They said
love creates
endless ripples
I nodded
and let it be tossed
into my heart
Little did I know
my heart has
dried up long ago-
I tuck some jasmines
on your skin
and stack them on
your spine
It stays so fresh
You look so pretty
I think of you longer than
I was ever with you
I am forgetting your smell
your feel
But the sillage stayed
the mystique
My most quiet yet
echoing friend
I composed you a verse
To thank you
for giving me refuge
when I was waging war
with the world outside
the demons inside
And to tell you
that you were right
everytime you told me
it's going to be okay
eventually-
A home
in a far off land
with
sour cream walls,
waterlogged
roof falling apart
I wonder
why is it not called
a ruin yet?
A home, my body
I'm a homebody
skin pale
eyes deluged
hope breaking apart
And I conclude
just like
I am not declared
dead yet.-
