कभी हम सामने वाले की मज़बूरी नहीं समझ पाते,
कभी अपनी स्थिति समझा नहीं पाते।।
ग़लतफ़हमी को सच मान बैठते, और बातें बिगड़ती
चली जाती।।

उन्होंने ख़ुद को खो दिया मुझे बनाने को,
अच्छा लगता है ख़ुद को खोते हुए
उनके लिए।।

कुर्बान कर दिए ना जाने कितनी खुशियां,
ना जाने कितने दर्द सीने में हैं दबाये हुए।।

लौटा ना पाऊंगी जो है उन्होंने दिया उसका कर्ज़,
हाँ!!मगर सुकून सा मिलता है थोड़ी थोड़ी खुशियां उनके लिए चुराते हुए।।

दुनियां क्या जाने ये हंसी कहाँ से है इस चेहरे पे,
उन्होंने अपनी कितनी मुस्कानें खो दी इस चेहरे को हंसाने के लिए।।

ना जाने कितनी तकलीफ़ छुपा ली चेहरे पे बनावटी मुस्कान के पीछे, अच्छा लगता है अपनी तकलीफ उनके लिए छुपाते हुए!!

उनसे ख़ास कोई नहीं इस पुरी दुनिया में ,
मैं उनका एक हिस्सा हुँ ,फ़क्र होता है ये कहते हुए।।
