I feel cracks in my bone,
I guess I am tired of being alone.

Isn't love life's backbone?

I search for it from sun to moon
Still unsure if it's a curse or a boon.

I smile to hide its' loss,
Is falling in love equivalent to a coin's toss,
Nevertheless be it heads or tail,
Either of two is always at loss.

They say I am brave, I handle it well
They often make me an inspiration in stories they tell.

How do I convey to them,
I am loosing my grip,
I can't hold on to the last thread of hope,
When it's about to slip,
I am afraid this time there is no flip,
Maybe they will never know how I often weep!
