कहां से आयी हो तुम
कहां है तुमको जाना।

क्या समंदर में मिल जाओगी तुम
करके कोई बहाना,
या बह जाओगी नदिया के साथ
गाते हुए कोई गाना।

क्या मिल जाओगी मिट्टी में
और गुम हो जाओगी सूरज की रोशनी में,
या बन जाओगी कीचड़
जो चिपकती है पैरों में।

क्या लिख सकती हो मेरे लिए
नए दिन का फ़साना,
बादलों से फ़रियाद कर
मेरे लिए इंद्रधनुष ले आना।

Just ask an orphan
who was thrown
in the dustbin...

I want a sweet nap,
In your lap.
Mom, where are you,
Please call me back.
I can still hear my
screams in my head,
If given a chance
I would have fled.
I can still feel
pricks given by the thorns!
Those people were like,
Monsters with the horns.
Mom, i could not understand
What was my mistake?
Before my demise...
I was cutting the cake!
I want a sweet nap,
In your lap.
Mom, where are you,
Please call me back.

the unending nights which
awake you and you need
a lap to just pour
out your feelings.
