life was better when all we had was bruised knees and elbows instead of bruised hearts.
Life was better when we had incomplete homeworks instead work assignments.
Life was better when all the pain would vanish just by the touch of your head on your mom's lap,
the caresses she would give you, you would just slip into the most peaceful place in the universe.
Life was better before.

You never came as someone new.
You felt like someone I have known for years.
There was no efforts put to start a conversation between us.
I had never felt like that since a long time I guess.
Hence I always address you
as the missing piece of my
jigsaw puzzle
which fits in perfectly.

An innocent yet mischievous heart which will do anything to just make me feel okay.

be the same weirdo for life.
You and I are going to be that stupid couple who keep monkeying around
in their own world.
You and I are going to be those mature couples who look at life practically
but also think that it should be a bit clichéd.
You and I are going to be there for each other when we think one of us is lagging a bit.

how tough it is to to tell that
love is wreckless.

They say that all the love you give out
comes back to you 10 folds.
But sometimes it doesn't work that way.
All the love you give out is just lost from your closet and slowly you start to get scarce of it.
Yet you try to pour whatever is left.
But how long can you pour from an empty cup?
Doesn't it need a refill so that you can keep going?
Don't you also need to get back atleast half of the all the love you generously offer?
Don't you?

Not all days in your life are happy days.
You are not at your best every time of the day.
There are times when you fall down and think that this is it, I am not getting out of this alive.
In those moments, just look back in your life and witness what a commendable journey your life has been till now and how you dodged each and every hurdle that came your way to reach to this point.
And then get back up, take a deep breath and make sure you are stronger than your own self which fell down.
