ಕಡಲ ತೀರದ ಮರಳು ರಾಶಿಲಿ
ಗೀಚಿಟ್ಟು ಕಾದ ಹೆಸರು ನೀನು

ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆಯ ಜಾಡ ಜಾಲಡಿಸಿ
ಅನುಭವದ ಬೊಗಸೆಗೆ
ತುಂಬಿಡುವ ಆಸೆ

ನನ್ನದು ಪುಟ್ಟಾಸೆ

ಪರರನು ಅಳೆದು ತೂಗಿ
ನಾನೊಬ್ಬ ನಿಜ ಯೋಗಿ
ಎಂದೆನ್ನುತ ನಟಿಸುವನು,
ದೇಗುಲದಲಿ ಬಾಗಿ

ಅಂತರಂಗ ಶುದ್ಧಿಯಿಲ್ಲದವನ
ಬದುಕಿನಲಿ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಬಂದರೇನು
ಕೊಚ್ಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯು
ಮಡಿ ಎನಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೇನು

ಹೊಲಸು‌ ತಿಂದ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ
ತುಂಗಾ‌ ಪಾನದ‌ ದಾಹವೇಕೆ
ಮದ ಮತ್ಸರದ‌ ದೇಹಕೆ
ಗಂಗಾ‌ ಸ್ನಾನದ ಬಯಕೆ ಬೇಕೆ

ಮನುಷ್ಯ ದೇವರಾಗಲ್ಲ
ತಪ್ಪುಗಳ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟು ಮೆರೆವವನಿಗೆ
ಒಂದೆ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ
ಮೇಲಿರೋನು ನೋಡಲ್ವ!!!

ಕಣ್ಣ ಅಗಲಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿದಷ್ಟೂ
ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾದ ಜಗವೆಂಬ ಗೂಡು
ಹೊಸ ಹುರುಪಿನಲಿ ಹೊರಟಿದೆ
ಹಳೆ ಪಾದದ ಹೊಸ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯ ಜಾಡು
