একোজ খোজ যেতিয়া মই আইৰ হাতত ধৰি দিছিলো,
সেয়াই মোৰ প্রথম খোজ নতুন দিশলৈ .
দেউতাই কৈছিল মইনাৰ বিয়া মই ডাঙৰকে পাতিম,
কথাটো শুনি মোৰ বৰ হাহন.
তেতিয়া নুবুজিছিলো যে মই পৰ হৈ পৰিম.
আজি এই দিনটো আহিল মোৰ বিয়া,
কানদোৱেনে -হাহোঁৱেনে একোৱে বুজি পোৱা নাই.
তেতিয়াও নুবুজিলো যে মই পৰ হৈ পৰিম.
অকমান পাছত আইয়ে বুজালে মোক,
মইনা তুমি আজি ঘৰখন এৰি যাবা নহয়.
তেতিয়া মই আইক কলো,
মই আকৌ আহিম নহয়.
আইয়ে তেতিয়া মোক কলে,
তোমাৰ ঘৰ এতিয়া এইতো নহয়,
গিৰীয়েকৰ ঘৰেই তোমাৰ আপোন.
তেতিয়াহে মই বুজিলো যে মই আজি পৰ হৈ পৰিলো.
