As for Me and My House

We serve the Lord with joy and song,
He makes our hearts forever strong.
Though trials rise and things go wrong,
His grace will lead us all along.

No evil voice can pull us low,
In faith and love we choose to grow.
Together now, His truth we know,
We’re held by Him wherever we go.

With every step, we’re led by You,
Each morning brings a brighter view.
Your mercy falls like morning dew,
And paints our lives in heaven’s hue.

When the world turns and walks right by,
You wipe your tears and never ask why.
You hold your head and try to try,
Even when your heart says goodbye.

No one claps when you survive,
But still you fight, you stay alive.
You chase your dreams, you always strive,
Your quiet strength will help you thrive.

No soft words, no guiding light,
But still you stand, still you fight.
You are your hope in darkest night,
And keep your soul holding tight.

How can you smile and forget my name?
You walk around like it’s all the same.
I still feel love, you feel no shame.
Was all you said just part of a game?

You said you’d cry if we ever part,
Now you laugh with a brand new start.
You left so fast, like there’s no heart.
Was all of that just a played-out part?

We joked, we laughed, we made a team,
Now you're gone like a passing dream.
I thought our love was real and clean,
But was it fake, not what it seemed?

Satan came to Eve with a fruit so bright,
Said, “You’ll be like God if you take a bite.”
But she forgot she was already blessed,
Made in God’s image, loved and dressed.

Later, Satan came to Jesus alone,
In a desert place where no one was known.
He showed Him kingdoms, glory, and gold,
But Jesus stood firm, strong and bold.

This is the difference, deep and true—
Humans forget what God spoke to you.
But Jesus remembered who He was inside,
Let’s stand in God’s truth, with Him as our guide.

I still remember your gentle face,
The way you held me in your grace,
Those little talks in a quiet place,
Now memories time cannot erase.

We laughed beneath the midnight sky,
You wiped my tears when I would cry,
We dreamed together, you and I,
Now all I do is wonder why.

You're gone, but still my heart does ache,
Each silent night, each breath I take,
My tears fall slow, they never fake,
For love like ours no time can break.

Jesus Christ sees every tear,
He draws you close, He stands so near,
He breaks the chains, removes the fear,
The Lion of Judah will always hear.

He lifts you up when hope feels low,
His mighty hands will help you grow,
He speaks through storms so you may know,
His power in you begins to show.

But do we stay when trials flee?
Or leave His Word so carelessly?
Is Christ our home, our place to be,
Our refuge for eternity?

Why do the youth now seek His name?
A quiet call, a burning flame.
Not for the crowd, not worldly fame,
But truth and peace, their hearts reclaim.

The Spirit flows, as prophets told,
Young men see light, the dreams unfold.
Old hearts awake from silence cold,
In Jesus' name, the brave grow bold.

He waits outside, so near the door,
With wounds of love, not wrath nor war.
Repent, believe, and sin no more,
Accept the Lord, and live once more.

Cain did wrong and walked in shame,
He killed his brother, took the blame.
But never called on God's great name,
His heart was cold, not lit with flame.

He feared the curse, but not his pride,
He ran from truth and tried to hide.
God waited still, with arms stretched wide,
But Cain went far and stayed outside.

Where do we stand—are we okay?
Or drifting further every day?
Will we return or keep delay?
The choice is ours—to go or stay.

Now I won't run, but kneel and pray,
I ask for grace to guide my way.
With open heart, I choose to stay,
And walk with God both night and day.

You said I'm your sky so wide and blue,
While others just passed and never knew.
You held me close, said love was true,
But now I’m gone like morning dew.

You once felt lucky I was near,
Called me your joy, your heart so dear.
Now you look back with pain and fear,
Wishing I’d never been so near.

I was the sun that made you proud,
Now I’m just rain behind a cloud.
You said forever, you said it loud,
Now I’m the one lost in the crowd.

From Bethlehem will rise the flame,
A ruler born with ancient name,
He comes with love and not with shame,
To guide the lost and heal the lame.

Though Israel weeps in war and fear,
The promised one will soon draw near,
He speaks with truth so sharp and clear,
And wipes away the bitter tear.

He breaks the sword, He ends the fight,
And fills the world with holy light,
No idols stay, no wrong holds tight,
His justice stands, His way is right.
