To be honest not everyone of us waits for this day
keenly & it passes by just like any other
day. Yeah it has got pride moments as well as
horrifying history & we were able to be called
independent. Freedom is not what one seeks to be
in the wilderness but one gets the responsibility to
preserve the invaluable gift we got in inheritance
from those who sacrificed their lives for us. If this
day really means to you something then try to do
things which encourages to get freedom from illiteracy,
freedom from hatred, freedom from poverty,
freedom from biased vision, freedom from mental
slavery, freedom from animosity, freedom from
injustice & freedom from being inhuman.

Year passes so quickly & there should be no time to regret. The life goes on. May be we have broken that last year resolutions too & yet we are ready to make another one. The year which gave us mixed feelings awaits at our doorstep to say farewell. The coming year which is just winking at us to take over all those joyful & sad memories needs a warm welcome.
