Few days ago someone told me that "listen sunayna you can become a good lawyer, a good business woman or anything except a good wife/homemaker/housewife."
I felt a little sad (not for myself) however I accepted it without any guilt. Because this is who I am and I can't act like everyone else or I can't fake being someone who I'm not just to make everyone like/love me. For them being real in this way is being rude and mannerless. So let them be.
What I believe is, no one can be perfect in all aspects (definition of perfection is different from person to person) and that's the reality. Being real is not selfish or rude. We must accept people for who they are and shouldn't try to fix them into our self-made, stereotypes personality. And yes, we can't expect from every woman to be a selfless follower of the same old pattern of becoming a "aadarsh naari" nor every woman is born to be a good wife or homemaker and it's a high time we should accept this.
