कुछ मुलाकातें थी,
कुछ अनकहीं सी हसरतें थी।
कुछ कहे हुए जज्बात थे।
कुछ बिना जवाब के सवाल थे।
कुछ तेरे मेरे हालात थे।
कुछ खुशियों से भरी यादें थी,
कुछ दूर जाने की बेचैनी थी।
अब न मुलाकातें है न बेचैनी,
न सवाल न जवाब।
तुम हो मैं हूं बस अब हम नहीं कहीं।

शायद अब हम कभी न मिलें।
लेकिन यह भी अंतिम सत्य है,
