What has changed between the first day we met and today?
‘You’, a break from my monotony back then to the beauty in my monotony now,
Aiming for the extraordinary ‘us’ to seeking the ‘extra’ in ordinary for us,
That awkward silence to this comforting silence.-
Bold but Comforting.

Two best friends fell in love.
No common food preference, sport hobby, movie genre or book interest.
How wonderfully weird is they shared nothing except each other’s company and eventually, Destiny.-
"I don't have a car. Can we walk to college?"
She smiled.
Ten years later...
"Let me get the car."
"Lets walk?"
The walk never ended, it was the walk till forever.-
Sitting in the classroom, eyes fixated on each other.
The period bell rang, she turned away with a smile.
A book closed. A new story began.-
He said: Why do you write?
I replied: Why do you breathe?
He again said : Why do you dance?
I replied: Because I write, both with the pen & the music!

Entering the party, she exclaimed "When does it start?"
To her surprise, there he was with an extended hand asking for hers. The big countdown screen read "If you say yes, our forever starts now."
Hand in hand, she walked into a new year with the loveliest gift.
Forever frame probably looked its very best!-
Several days of learning WhatsApp, and finally Dad sends his first message:
Dad: "Received the Barbeque box. It's hug."
Me: "Huge" :P :D
Never thought auto-correct could bring this big a smile on my face!-
As a child, she asked her Dad, "What's the most precious thing to you?"
He replied, "My life". Probably not what she expected.
Years later it was her birthday again. Amid all gifts, she found a scrapbook with 30 pages. Each page with a photo of her growing up. That's how old she was.
Her smile reached her ears while she read the Front cover title "My Life."-
Firsts are always special!
Companionship unlocked a new level as the newly weds took bites of the half-burnt food from their maiden couple kitchen.-
"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."

"This is my son's room. My daughter-in-law excels in household chores obviously."
She wistfully looked at the rack full of her trophies and books while preparing tea for the guests and her in-laws.
"My Mom's story won't be mine. Preparing tea or marriage- Is a choice only I'll make.", she thought to herself.-
