Life is an endless loop, they say.
Extreme happiness followed by profound grief.
AND
Every gloom followed by a bright advent.

But for those of us who-
In happiness, are scared to feel immense delight, being certain of the imminent dusk.
And
In grief, lack the belief of any approaching dawn, to end the catastrophe within.

How do we earn ourself atleast a single instance of this flowing time,
where we call ourself utterly & eternally satisfied, smiling & at peace?

To everyone who dares to hope,

You have a dream, the one you have linked all your happiness with. You have grasped every last ounce of your strength and dedicated it to fulfill your only desire. Now, all that is left is hoping that your efforts were enough to make your dream come true.

The realization most of us fail to have is Hope is just a possiblity, not a belief. Hope is a closed door and you are waiting at the doorstep. The door may open up to your mounting rise or to your very desolate fall.

Hope is a feeble rope, capable of paving the climb towards your dream and it's also the rock that can shatter your dream into so many pieces, you can't even get back all of them, lest only imagine going back to what you were.

The problem here is we are trained to believe that staying hopeful always opens up to positive world, but never are we exposed to the fatal reality of how the world comes crumbling down when even the slightest tinge of our last hope is lost.

So, the moment you decide to cling to hope should also be the moment you prepare yourself towards the chances of getting drowned in the depths of despair.

Coz sometimes, inspite of everything, you are not enough.

Ever wondered why pain is the most widely appealed emotion in an artistic work?

Happiness, success and achievements are always followed by smiling faces, eyes brimming with pride, compliments showing utter satisfaction and your contentment for being able to make your loved ones happy.

But loss and pain is very personal. It is always accompanied by loneliness. You may have people consoling you with words saying they understand how you feel, making you believe that your pain is not one of its kind and in the process, forcing you to feel guilty for experiencing the pain of this degree.

That's when art provides you the shelter you so longingly desired to seek. The truth is, pain is the only emotion which bleeds through your pen super easily. You can rant all your sorrow into your art and somehow, the world seems to connectedly relate to your pain. It provides you the validation you seek- you undergoing pain is not to be despised, but it too is a matter of pride.

You converting your pain into art, which ultimately makes you and maybe a nanoscopic fraction of the world going through the same, feel less lonely is too a matter of contentment.
