আমি এক বার্থ প্রেমিক,
চলে যায় চোখ যায় যেদিক।

জানি কেও রাখবেনা আমার মনের খেয়াল,
মধ্যেখানে গড়ে উঠেছে যে এক মস্ত দেওয়াল।

মনের সঙ্গে করেই চলেছি যুদ্ধ অবিরাম,
ক্লান্ত মাখা চোখে জোটেনি কোনো বিশ্রাম।

ঠিক করেছি চলেই যাবো ছেড়ে বেদনার শহর,
নিজ হাতে দিয়ে সব দুঃখের কবর।

জানালার ফাঁক দিয়ে দেখি,
একটা পাতা গাছটার ডালে খুব শক্ত ভাবে
জড়িয়ে আছে,
আমিও যেন জীবনটাকে ওই পাতাটার মতো আঁকড়ে ধরে রাখার চেষ্টা করছি।
যেদিন ওই পাতাটার যুদ্ধ শেষ হবে, খসে পরবে গাছের ডালটা থেকে,
আমিও সেদিন এই চেনা শহর ছেড়ে নিরুদ্দেশ হয়ে যাব ।

As expectations are like fragile glasses.
Which always breaks by the blow of the wind of Disappointment.

My body has become tired ,
Waiting for the time to consume my sorrow,
I have tried to smile,
The brightest smile I could borrow .


The leaves has fallen from the decayed branch
Which I looked up to from my window pane
With passing time I became blanch
With the love which was once like the rose, has made me pale.

The sad thing is that, the ones with whom we make the best memories, are the ones who forget us easily...

শেষ বিদায়

একবার যদি ফিরে দেখো সখা ,
তোমার এই শেষ দিনে আমি যে হয়ে গেছি সর্বহারা।
মনে পরে যতবার দেখি ঘুরে ফিরে,
সেই পুরোনো দিনের কথা।
জমে থাকা অভিমান আর না বলা হাজারো কথা,
ঘিরে আছে হৃদয় জুড়ে কত আশা আর প্রতাশা।
রেখে দেবো চিলেকোঠাই অন্তত বৎসর এর প্রতিক্ষায়
তুমি ঘুরে দেখো আরেকটি বার
ওগো আমার প্রাণের দোসর,
ফিরে দেখো আরেকটিবার!!

SOLITARY ASSASSIN

The eyes which reflect the deepest of mysteries,
Was around a tour in the abode of darkness,
Full of vigor and pride,
Adorned with yellow and black stripes.

The green eyes camouflage the darkest of secrets,
Hiding amongst the bushes glancing at its Target.
His eyes glitter in the moonlit night,
My brush captures the engrossing sight.


The heavens couldn't change the rules of life,
But my painting can surely immortalize.
Thy charismatic hull forever,
Which would be reminiscence by mankind,
The story of the "Solitary Assassin" forever.
