Your Biography
I wish I could’ve read it when
It would’ve been your Autobiography
Maybe then, I could’ve felt
How you were feeling all that while
Why you could not bear to live anymore
And couldn’t go on just pretending to smile
-
A soothing embrace
Like being allotted a slice of heaven
And there, I own the most scenic place-
“Right” - the only word he could say
Even though things were furthest from going his way
“So what if I stuff my problems away?”
“Till I live to see another day”-
Everyone's broken.
All you can hope for
Is to find someone
Whose pieces fit with yours-
It's much better to suffer in silence
Than open your heart to someone
To whom, in a few months' time,
You'll not even hold any importance
-
As you hopelessly fixate on the moon, don't abandon the stars
-
Mistakes make us who we are
Lessons mould us into who we can be-
you gotta keep moving
Cause the world will not stay still
No matter how badly you want it to
And if your legs turn to stone
Inertia will splatter you into the ground
