Who knows, what comes next,
Rainbows, Northern lights,
Solar flare or Dark days,
And bright, glaring Nights,
Sun rising at midnight,
Moon hiding under ashes.

Before we say goodbye,
To all earthly pleasures,
To be lost forever,
In the cosmic clouds,
Just hold me tight,
As never before,
Our hearts beating faster,
Memories would carry,
Into distant unknown lands.

It isn't easy loving a poet,
The one who lives in dreams,
In rhymes, they communicate,
Words woven in chains of music,
Brain doesn't count for such,
Heart overflows in streams,
World of fantasy they create,
On the mundane earth,
Living in their own world,
Truth of life they adore,
Love the poet for poetry,
For taking you to realms,
Where love alone reigns.

Vehicles singing tunes,
Machines running incessantly,
Bombs, missiles explode,
In name of entertainment,
Decibels of sounds collide,
Whirlwind of noise churn,
Civilization becomes deaf,
Cochlear cells destroyed,
Never to recover again,
In pain mankind reels,
Stop the wind of noise,
Let the world be in serenity,
To regain consciousness.

A gift for you dear,
What can I bestow you?
A diamond, gold, or platinum,
A big house, expensive car,
Ward robe from Italy.

Me, the simple one,
Not rich enough for all that,
Thee more beautiful,
Than all that glitters,
In abode of angels,
Shining like Northern lights,
In hues of colors,
Looking at thy rainbow,
All fade into oblivion.

Me, myself, mine, and I,
All together made me,
Ego of mine dominate,
Nothing else exists except,
Self that advertises on roads,
Narcissist that proclaims,
Me the king of kings,
What of my neighbors.
Time to rethink on the altar,
To go deep into oneself,
Where did it all go wrong,
Laws of universe different,
Realize before sinking to abyss.

Walls that you had built,
Lines that you had drawn,
Some on land, some on heart,
Languages that you speak,
Difficult to decipher for me,
System of beliefs you follow,
Slowly, we drifted apart,
As the expanding universe,
In division of minds and hearts,
In pain of separation,
Ruminate on the lost days,
Wish to unite one day.

Some dark nights,
Darker than darkness,
Wolves howling at distance,
Sound of whirlwind blowing,
Devils of earth on rampage,
In search of human blood,
To appease their satiety,
Perverts dancing on roads,
Sanity lost its way,
Wisdom has taken leave,
Watchman sleeps with drugs,
Some nights burn your soul,
Chars it for a long time.

Why did you do that,
To a medico sleeping,
Alone in seminar room,
With books on her chest,
Stethoscope on her neck,
A few hours of sleep,
After a long 36-hour duty,
Studied to serve ailing ones,
To bring smiles to sick ones,
A girl who stood straight,
Not to be fearful of your threats,
And so brutally, you ripped her,
Inhumane, Wolves of mankind.

One more rape,
One more death,
Kinder Garten girl molested,
Pregnant lady sexually abused,
A doctor on duty raped,
Old or young or infant,
Sex of the victim counts,
Perverts roam free,
Who protects them,
System silent protector,
Only a whisper here and there,
How long and how long??

Droplets hanging on objects,
Looking at each other,
Memories of togetherness,
In clouds, hovering in the sky,
In falling, we separated,
Pain of that separation,
Still haunts me and you,
When the Sun will rise,
Burn us to evaporate,
In vapors, we unite again,
Or flow in streams to ocean,
That vastness awaits,
All tiny ones to mingle,
Clutching tightly each other.
