Phone rings at 3am
Unknown number it was
"Are you still awake?"
A familiar voice asked.

Emotions bursting,
Memories restoring ;
Adrenaline rushing,
My alarm woke me up.

Another day, another dawn,
Another dream, a night to mourn.

Perhaps that's what we call as destiny,
Random events set by the universe ;
In a sequence of finding the true self,
Only to see the true meaning of life.

We all have fallen in love at least once,
But only the fortunate get to feel it twice ;
And then there are some emotionally fucked ones,
Who try knocking all the doors, only to get a reply from none.

And when out of the blues, a door is answered,
We run, we escape into our very own reality ;
A reality of pain & sorrow is what they call,
Only not to feel those pure emotions of the fool ones.
