CHAPTER 30: Alone

"Come out dear Tristan, didn't you say you had something to say?." A sickening sweet voice called him out, making him shiver in fear.

'I cannot be found unless my sister comes back home. I'll stay here like always. She cannot find me here. I wanted to eat something so I went into the kitchen sneakily so that I wouldn't disturb her, but I was found by her friend who was there.'

"Awe Tristan, are you perhaps being a naughty boy right now?" The voice came from just outside the doors of the wardrobe.

`Gasp...she found me, help me someone.' Tristan sobbed.

'Why did they have to appoint her, why is she my Nanny?'

"BOO" The doors of the wardrobe were forcefully opened.

"Found you dear Tristan. Awe are you...... "

CHAPTER 28: Infinity Images

“See what’s in your yard. Will you?”, Drake made a nasty expression. He was furious about volleyball being dragged every time. He had his fists ready to punch. But decided not to as even his one movement could kill other’s life. Not that he cared a lot about it, but he was scared that his own life’s stake lay in someone else’s hand.

“As if that will help.” Goma had not turned his face to Drake. He was still busy examining the place, but he must have caught that glimpse from his peripheral vision.

“So, do you have an idea of where we are standing?”Drake questioned, shoving his hands in his pockets casually, he now seemed somewhat collected.

“Ummmm…Yes…But I didn’t know it was possible….It was just a theory”, Goma’s voice fainted.

“What do you mean?”

“Eh…There is a theory of the Infinity Mirror. It’s basically something that produced….what we say them…eh?. yeah…something like a 3D illusion mirror effect. Since the mirrors are kept here opposite of each other and a hundred and thousands of reflections are produced. But one thing is odd.”

CHAPTER 27: Nursery Rhymes
She began in her sing-song voice, in a decent sound, as-if mostly singing it to herself.
“Mirror mirror on the wall
One mirror falls, death of all.”

“Who is this silly girl and what is she saying?” Drake asked.
At this, Catherine looked at Drake to figure out who this new person was. Not gathering any expression for the new remarks for herself, she continued in the same tone.

“Orphan she is, but not small,
With her, is the guy who loves Volleyball
Catherine loves him,
But he doesn’t fall.”

Tears rolled down Catherine’s rosy cheeks while she continued playing with her favourite toy. She looked like any normal kid who would get mad at someone for not liking him or her, but her more than calm and composed behaviour is what the teens were fearing the most.

Mustering up her usual self she continued herself while wiping her tears from the handkerchief attached to her frock. She tilted her head and caught a glimpse of Drake,

“Other player, that lies by the wall
Seldom alone, follows no protocol.........

CHAPTER 26: Catherine

".....
'Help me someone! Help! even though he wanted to say these words out loud nothing came out his parched throats not a single squeak. "You finally came to meet me." A sweet thin voice of a small girl said giggling.

He could make out the figure of a small girl wearing balloon frocks, hair made into a twin ponytail.

'She did not change one bit. She was just the same as she used to be Catherine. Rosy plump cheeks, dried-cracked lips and beady eyes with dark shadows underneath.

Tristan thought 'No no no!' he thought, 'Not her.'

"What? I'm a little hurt, you know? How can you forget about me? You are my only f-r-i-e-n-d." Catherine said, singing.

'I don't want anything with you, just leave!...... "

Chapter 25: Missing

"I hope that's what happened." Akashi mumbled.

"And why are you in my mirror ?Stop scaring me, you jerk." Rika scolded him.

"I had no choice! We are leaving in a bit for school and I wanted to inform you of what happened to your friends." Akashi sounded a bit desperate, making Rika worry.

"Do you happen to know a place with a full length mirror enough for a human to pass through?" Akashi asked. "Rika, what's taking so long? We are about to leave." Alex shouted from outside.

"Yes, one minute." Rika shouted back. She does know a place with huge mirrors but she'd rather not go there again if possible.

"Rika chan?"

"Ah yes I know. It's in the school at

Soy Libre." She can still vividly remember the horrifying memories of what happened the day she went there.

CHAPTER 24.5: The Cherry Tree

"....... Goma heard chirping of the birds that sounded clearer as his senses woke up from sleep. He found his eyes difficult to open. Partly because of his swollen eyes and partly because of the sun shining right over his face. Gathering up his courage and his body, he got up on his feet and came on his toes to give a nice stretch. He strolled wearily at the bank of the lake still drooping his head and splashed a handful of water over his face. He rose up to full length and could not help but notice the beautiful waterfall at the tail of the lake. Pain and loss were still dawning over him but something about the fall drew him towards it.

The gushing sound of the water falling over the pebbles and the blue and yellow butterflies was so alluring. There was no thinking, he closed his eyes and walked closer to the lap of nature. The water splashed all over his body, easing his clenched muscle and healing his soul. He was lost for a moment and then something large and soft hit his legs. Opening and wiping his eyes, he saw Rika floating......."

CHAPTER 24: The Cherry Tree

".... Your grey eyes"

"Huh?! "

"Your eyes Goma, it means so much to me. I feel I know so much about you! But... But", Rika could not finish as Goma broke harder and lay his head on her shoulder gripping her tight from arms. He prayed silently to be in and around a tree-house or a cave or anything the mighty forest can provide to save their lives. But he could not help thinking about the many forest-borne or lab-borne animals that might rip their soul apart.

CHAPTER 23: Survival

His forearms and legs elongated as his spinal cord bent and cracked transforming into that of a big werewolf taller than your average human height. His fur was pure black like his hair and his light brown eyes shone in the sunlight as he bared his long fangs hissing in warning. He can transform into a werewolf and if there would have been a wolf tribe then he had the quality of an alpha. He could release hormones and scents that could make his opponents go numb. Rika was also affected by this numbing effect when he pinned her down in the chair.

CHAPTER 22: Wilderness

"............."Run run run." She chanted these words as she sprinted away from the creature. All of them followed the suit except Levi who was in charge of all the food. He didn't know how dangerous the situation was and lagged a little behind to gather all their hard earned supplies.

"Run Levi run. Leave the supplies." Alex shouted over her shoulder.

But before he could sense it the creature was already on top of him pinning him down. Levi let out a shriek as the long salivating tongue of the creature licked him as if checking for
edibility.

"What should we do? What can we do?" All of them were in panic as they watched the scene unfolds.

"HELP ME." Levi cried out shouting...... "

CHAPTER 21: CONFESSION

She went in for a quick small hug, but Ramel grabbed her by her waist and enveloped her into a big hug burying his face on the crook of her neck and squeezed a little. His actions surprised her but to her. It looked like he deserved at least a hug after she rejected him all the time so she reciprocated by wrapping her slender arms around his huge body. His warmth gave her a sense of relief and comfort which reminded her of the old times she smiled a little at the bitter sweet memories.

"Looks like someone sure is happy on their little date." A very familiar voice came through the open doorway and her heart sank into her stomach. She broke away from the hug and looked at the doorway to see Zach standing there with his arms crossed. He just looked at her, shook his head and left.
