I don't want to look back
I am willing to go ahead
But things come across,

Still you ask to forget them
But how do I forget

I expected a brick,
A piece that could fill,
A deep hole in my heart.

I expected a drop,
A drop of magic ink
That charms my soul
With a little spill.

I expected a spark,
A shaft of sunlight
That could drive off
My nightmares in the dark.

I expected enough,
To make me fall apart
A cold reality hits me
No matter how much I plea
You can't dive into my sea.

ना फिर तू मेरा हुआ
ना फिर मैं तेरी हुई।

कल में मैं थी, कल मुझमें था
मैं आज की न हो सकी
ये एहसास मुझको हर पल था
मेरा वजूद आज का नहीं
मेरा नाम आज का नहीं
वो सब तो कल से था
तो कैसे भुलाऊँ मैं कल को
आज में मेरी बीमारी है पर
मेरा इलाज मेरे कल में था

तेरी ख़ता क्या है तुझे बता नहीं सकते
रूठ कर भी तुझसे दूर जा नहीं सकते
मसले सारे ऐतबार के हैं
ऐतबार करे तो भी जता नहीं सकते
तुम्हारी यादों ने बहुत ज़ुल्म किये हैं
भूलना आता है पर भुला नहीं सकते

My past is unburied

Still I m burning in the fire of history
For me, forgetting is a dark mystery
How do I start with clean slate?
Cold words resist my hand to erase
Just like days are irreversible
My heart seems unrepairable
People keep dumping their advice
But no one is ready to listen twice
Forget, forgive and leave
How easy these words are to give!
Slyly it peeps through a distant door
As I get happy and enjoy to the core
When I am about to loose its sight
Light gets dim, then comes the night.
I want someone who sticks by my side
To read the chapters with stains inside.

When we are together,
I can fight with my inner beast
I don't care if the world leave,
I know you are with me at least.

When we are together,
My heart is right inside me
Even if there are many locks,
I always have my special key.

When we are together,
Loneliness flies like a bird.
You, me and our laugh,
What else could be better?

मैंने हर दर्जे की वफ़ा निभाई है
कभी इल्ज़ाम सहे कभी चोट खाई है
ख़ुदा ने दिल का मर्ज़ दिया तो दिया
पर दवा कतई बेवफ़ा बनाई है
कितनी बार बयाँ करू में मेरे दर्द को
तूने नासमझने की कसम जो खाई है
