You could watch me torture an entire city. And then when you truly understood the depth of your failure we will fulfill Ra's Al Ghul's destiny.

And then, when it is done and Gotham is ashes, then you've my permission to die-
Bane - oh, you think darkness is your ally? But you merely adopted the dark. I was born in it. Molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man. By then, it was nothing to me but blinding. The shadows betray you because they belong to me.

Bruce Wayne - Start fresh
Selina - there's no fresh start in today's world. Any 12 year old with a cell phone could find out what you did. Everything we do is collated and quantified. Everything sticks.
Bruce - Is that how you justify stealing?
Selina - I take what I need from those who have more than enough. I don't stand on the shoulders of people with less.

Selina - I think I'd do more to help someone than most of the people in this room. Than you.
Bruce -I think maybe you're assuming a little too much?
Selina- maybe you're being unrealistic about what's really in your pants other than you're wallet.
Bruce - Ouch
Selina - You think all this can last? There's a storm coming Mr. Wayne. You and your friends better batten down the hatches. 'Cause when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how your ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.
Bruce - You seem you're looking forward to it.
Selina - I'm adaptable-
Dent - your men, your plan.
Joker- Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I'm? I'm a dog chasing cars. I wouldn't know what to do with one if I caught it. You know? I just do things. The mob has plans. The cops have plans. Gordon's got plans. You know. They're schemers. Schemers trying to control their little worlds. I'm not a schemer. I try to show the Schemers how pathetic their attempts to control things really are. So, when I say that you and your girlfriend was nothing personal, your know that I'm telling the truth. It's the Schemers that put you where you are. Your were a schemer. You had plans. Look where that got you.
I just did what I do best. I took your little plan and I turned it on itself. You know what I noticed? Nobody panics when things go according to the plan. Even if the plan is horrifying.
Introduce a little anarchy.
Upset the established order and everything becomes chaos.

Alfred - yes Master Wayne?
Bruce - did I bring this on her? I was meant to inspire good, not madness, not death.
Alfred - you have inspired good, but you spat in the faces of Gotham's criminals. Didn't you think there might be some casualties. Things were always gonna get worse before they got better.
Bruce - but Rachel, Alfred.
Alfred - Rachel believed in what your stood for. What we stand for. Gotham needs you.
