I lived a life far away from the city of laughter

Free lunches were a scam designed by hollow hearts
Where Charities were a facade and pretension was the greatest art
There was a scarity of shoulder to cry on to or hands to pat your back
While venomous tongues with bigotry and spite engulfed you in its wreck
Still i waited for “light at the end of the tunnel” moments though it felt like lies
But i wont go down without a fight cause hope and love are my stongest allies
