Perhaps it was an ending for me,
and a beginning for you.
An ending to the longing of being loved,
felt and understood.
A beginning to a voyage for you, yet
another love to embark upon.

An end to an end you have
always anticipated.
A beginning to a void I would never
be able to fill.

What are you to me?

You say you want to be close
Yet when I express my intimacy
You flinch and move away.
You say you care for me
Yet when I am maimed and in pain
You look away and leave me down there
You say my happiness means everything to you
Yet when I share about all the little moments of happiness I feel,
You turn deaf ears and scroll down ya phone.
You say you want me forever
Yet when you make plans for all the times to come
I don’t find myself in it
You say you love me,
Yet when I haze into your eyes
All I see in those depths are the griefs you hold
Long nights like these leaves me wondering,
Wondering of wonders that your heart holds.
And as I close my eyes,
Within those near to broken walls of my heart a question reverberates
And I ponder ‘What are you to me?’

A hopeful spring

The colossal agony you left my heart with,
has now commenced healing in its own.
Albeit a big void and null at present it still remains,
like the land far away barren and obscured
which longs for heavy downpour to sooth its soils,
this heart too covets for a love to calm its soul
to rejuvenate those broken grounds,
And to yield blossoms for the hopeful springs to come.

You know what’s sad?
How times and situations changes you eventually.
From being that once a jolly motivated guy, filled with life, whose heart held abundance of love and sweet songs, who without hesitation sang it out loud to the world, to that person who now hoards his emotions and his heart’s left barren and cold, has long forgotten every single melody and the beats. Partly dead, partly just surviving,has no fucking clue of where he is headed to.
Now that’s sad and It aches my heart to the core seeing what time’s done to me.

In pursuit of finding more and more of the less and less we need, most of have lost our ways to the real insight of life.
Please take a break, breathe and remember the sole purpose of this life; to be happy.
It isn’t really worth squandering being melancholic and lamenting over things we don’t at all have any control over.
Let it go.

......Those sleepless nights and unheard cries
Within myself I lost all fights
Yet I Walked on with blurred sights
Far off a trail so strange I wandered
With each step I took, I pondered
Each passing second seemed squandered
‘All along had I been in the wrong trail?’
Reverberated within leaving me all frail

You were a dream too big for this poor heart to have dreamt of.
Only if I had realized it prior to the pain it caused,
I wouldn’t be waking up every morning with bits of its unended and broken parts.
You said you were a keeper,
you must be one:
But you couldn’t keep me,
Our unkept promises and plans.
