Of life unchained, and spirit untold.

We see them as beasts, harsh and wild,
Yet they are gentle, tender, mild.
Their hearts beat just like ours do—
With dreams, with fears, with feelings true.

So next time you look, don’t turn away,
For they are us in another way.
Ink and echoes of nature’s art,
Living souls with tender hearts.

जैसे वक़्त खुद हमसे साजिश रचाई।
हम तो मोहरे हैं किसी बड़ी बिसात में,
चलते रहते बस वक़्त के हिसाब में।

तेरे बिना तो मेरी पहचान भी अधूरी है।

ज़ख़्म तो भर गए, नमी कम न हुई।

रात भर चाँद से शिकायत की,
फिर भी तनहाई की कमी कम न हुई।

लोग कहते हैं वक्त मरहम है,
हाँ सही कहते हैं मगर कमी कम न हुई।
