Looking back

The black sky glints
over your favourite
part of the city.
It's moving,
the moments
we shared felt like
eternity.
the grass I walk on,
The suns
pricks me, I long
for those countless
petals that people
showered on me.
We share a song,
I played it at last.
But things can
mean different
for people.
So, when we look back,
all that is left are
memories that will
either break you today,
or make you smile forever.

Cringest poems that I never like to share. And this is one of it.

I want to speak now, or I will regret.
This June, I waited enough for its rain.
Crafted scenarios which got me upset.
A book company but all in vain.

Those roads reminded of a lovely song.
I began to forget you had hurt me,
On that fair evening, when we sang along,
The infinite road greeted us with glee.

If I had spoken, could it have been better?
But words flowed without an apology.
This will now live in those untold letters,
And our moments in an anthology.

I don't know what is love; I feel alone.
Yet, In this void of heart, you feel like home.

"You know youre lying."

"Basically trying to just hide the fact I love him."

"Why?"

"Cause it's to hide than cry over it. Maybe I am so hurt that I don't want to show it. Maybe I'm just so helpless but don't want help."

"You start liking rain all of a sudden."

"Maybe you imagine dancing to dandelions with them?"

"You get hurt when it's real."

"You feel at home." I replied.

The universe doesn't care. Meant to be together is all bullshit. Your choices, your choices is what decides what you'll be.
