A part of us, yet sharp as hell.
We try to heal, we hope, we wait,
But pain persists, a confused state.

The rot sets in, it spreads, it grows,
And we are busy in fulfilling the vows.
We cling to what we wish would last,
Yet know it’s fading, sinking fast.

To cut away is cruel and difficult,
Yet accept it as fate without any guilt.
Coz' keeping decays and rotten part,
Will not allow us make a fresh start.

Though it burns, heart may break,
We must let go, for our own sake.
For some to thrive, some must fall,
Not all we cultivate can stay at all.

Road ahead has many milestones to gain,
With steady steps, you will rise again.
A brighter dawn, a beautiful path ahead
With accolades and crown on your head.

When the nation sees growth ahead,
My budget fuels the words unsaid.
No capital cuts, no slashed delight,
Expenditures on love burn bright.

When inflation spikes in worldly chain,
Only love holds value, relations to gain.
Deep in my heart, a budget grows,
Romance, not debt, is what it owes.

No income tax on warm embraces,
No surcharge on smiling faces.
For joy and trust, no TDS or GSTs.
Kisses and hugs flow like subsidies.

"How long can you stare at your wife?"
This question poses a threat to our married life.
How long can you stare without a task?
Bollywood songs had the answers, I had to ask.

Mr Shah Rukh declared, staring is not boredom,
In his song "Tujhe dekha toh yeh jaana sanam,
Tu samne baithi rahe, main tujhe dekha karu,"
He meant that it is a lifetime joy, in that one view.

"Aankhon mein teri ajab si adaayein hain"
Talks about something that money can’t buy.
Dekha hazaaron dafa aapko, phir beqarari kaisi
Targets and deadlines, even the fame looks less pricey.

Rightly said in Dil se dil takraye, nazar se nazar,"
In her eyes I will find life’s greatest treasure.
Tujh mein rab dikhta hai, yaara main kya karoon
& Above career goals, peace is something I pursue.

We all totally agree that work is a must,
But staring at loved ones builds deeper trust.
Even when company reaches heights so rare,
What is greater than romantic time spent to stare
