आज सत्य नहीं बोलूंगा, तुम सुन भी नहीं पाओगे,
गर कह दिया सब सच, खड़े नहीं रह पाओगे,
टूटेगा घमंड तुम्हारा, ये दोगलेपन का चेहरा भी,
दिख जाएगा सब को फिर, ये तुम्हारे झूठा सेहरा भी,
सच सुनकर शायद, तुम बौखला जाओगे,
फिर अपनी ताकत से तुम मुझे हराने आओगे,
अपनी ऊंची हैसियत से जीत भी मुझसे जाओगे ,
फिर अपने घमंड का इक और ऊंचा दर्जा पाओगे,
अपनी कुंठा को तुम जीत का ताज पहनाओगे,
मुझे दबा कर तुम फिर महान कहलाओगे ।
आज ताकत है तुम्हारे पास,
तो तुम भगवान बने बैठे हो,
सब से ऊपर हो गए, शायद इसलिए ऐंठे हो,
अपने मद में तुम सभी को कम आंकते हो,
औरों की पीड़ा में खुद को महान जांचते हो,
पर सच सुन नहीं सकते, ये तुम्हारी कमजोरी है,
और मैं सच बोल नहीं सकता ये मेरी मजबूरी है,
सच कहने वाले को झुकाना, ही तुम्हारी ताकत है,
चमचों की चापलूसी में रहना तुम्हारी आदत है ।

आज भी मेरी चुप्पी, तुमको महान बताएगी,
समाज में तुम्हारी ख्याति और फैली जाएगी,
सच मेरा आज भले, ही कमजोर रह जाएगा,
पर तुम्हारे झूठ से वो हमेशा बड़ा ही कहलाएगा,
भले न बोलूं आज सच मै, पर तुम तो ये जानते हो,
कितने बड़े नीच हो तुम, यह बात खुद मानते हो ।।
आज मेरा सत्य फिर, हार जाएगा
और तुम्हारा झूठ फिर विजयी कहलाएगा,
जनता हूं सही हु मैं पर झूठ नहीं तौलूंगा,
आज सही होकर भी सत्य नहीं बोलूंगा ।।
