Yet here I am, drawn to her, longing just to be near her light, to spend even a moment beneath the warmth of her aura. I would walk away from the entire world, just to stand beside her.

I’m just an ordinary guy with a broken heart, trying to live life again. When I first saw you, I began admiring your presence deeply. You felt like my rebirth, and I tried to connect with you many times, but you always pushed me away, never acknowledging my presence. Now, once again, I feel the pain. To escape the hurt and silence my thoughts, I started taking antidepressants again to focus on my career. It may be one-sided, but your actions and your beauty are imprinted in my mind, something I can’t erase. It’s painful when I try to say “hi” and you ignore me, as if I’m invisible. It hurts, but I still hold onto hope.

As I entered the cafeteria, I noticed her foreign friend roaming around cafeteria to grab her lunch,
I glanced around, hoping to spot her, and after a brief observation of where her friend was sitting, I was right—she was already there, enjoying her meal. It made me happy inside to see her again after so many days.

I grabbed my lunch and made my way toward her table, hoping to sit nearby so I could admire her from a distance. Unfortunately, someone else was already occupying the seat next to her, so I found an empty table a bit farther away, in the opposite direction. Still, I was content just knowing she was there.

She was wearing a stunning yellow chikankari suit that enhanced her natural beauty. She looked absolutely gorgeous. I tried to catch her eye, but sadly, I wasn’t able to make eye contact. I walked past her, hoping she might notice me, but it seemed she didn’t.

With a bit of disappointment, I returned to finish my lunch, had a coffee, and then went back to my work, grateful for the brief moment of seeing her again.

It’s been so many days since I last saw her. Each day feels incomplete without even a glimpse of her. Every time I step into the cafeteria, my eyes instinctively search for her, but, unfortunately, I leave empty-handed, feeling a sense of sadness. Just one glimpse of her was enough to brighten my day. I used to wake up, get ready for work, and head to the office, all just for the chance to see her—she was the fuel that powered my day. But now, I don’t feel the same. I find myself struggling to focus, constantly distracted by the hope of seeing her. I visit the cafeteria multiple times a day, but no matter where I look, I can’t find her. :-(

She stepped towards me, wearing a pink chikankari suit, exuding an angelic presence. This time, she stood beside me, I paused for a moment, and greeted her, "Hey, hi! Good morning, how are you?" After mentioning her name, we chatted for a couple of minutes about work. She then shifted the conversation, joined her friend, and I took my order before leaving, saying,
"I’ll ping you on Teams.”

I found myself mesmerized, unable to look away, entranced by her effortless beauty and magnetic energy.

Every time I catch a glimpse of her, she looks even more gorgeous than the day before. Just one fleeting moment in her presence brightens my entire day. And she remains blissfully unaware that someone nearby feels incredibly lucky to witness her beauty each and every day.

With an unchanged expression, she moved away from the area. As I stepped out of the hand-washing area and went to grab my coffee, I noticed she was already there, waiting for hers. I stood beside her, and luckily, two of her colleagues showed up—one of whom I knew. We started talking, and during the conversation, I took the opportunity to say hello to her, making eye contact. She responded with a smile. After a few seconds, she moved to her desk, and I continued talking to her colleagues from a different team.
