अच्छा हुआ जो तुम न मिले
वरना आज तुमसे भी उकता जाती,
और ये सब सहन करना सोच से परे मुश्किल है,
अपने न किए प्रयासों को तुम्हारे न मिलने से justify नहीं कर रही,
पर वाकई, तुम्हें चाहकर पाने के बाद भी,
या तो तुम्हारा मुझसे, या शायद कभी मेरा तुमसे,
ऊब जाना निश्चित ही था,
जब तक कि ख़ुद से न मिल लें,
और शायद इसलिए तुमसे न मिल पाने ने
मुझे ज़्यादा पूर्ण बनाया है।।
