It's midnight,darkness at its peak.
Painful thoughts are what I seek.
At midnight, its difficult to hide,
All the pain I am carrying inside

I feel fine the whole day long,
As my mind plays the pleasant song.
The midnight brings pain all along,
And my mind starts playing the dreadful song.

It feels hard to explain my pain,
Or lately have I turned insane?
I can't keep myself away,
From all the painfull thoughts coming my way.

I go with the flow and play my part.
While this destructive darkness breaks my heart.
All I want is to end this fight,
A silent cry makes me feel all right.

In the end,
All I know that I have to fight,

The Serene Sunset

I walk by the beach to see the sunset,
To see the magic of a beautiful ending.
The aura of the charming colourful sky,
What a serene way to say goodbye.

The sunset lights up the sky so bright,
It gives me a moment of delight.
Sunsets are an artistic mystique,
It captures my attention in a flick.

The sea water flirts with my feet,
I get kissed by the cool breeze,
Now it's time for the sun and sea to meet,
And I want this moment to freeze.

The beautiful moment starts to flee,
As the sun gets engulfed by the sea.
The colours of the sky fades away,
Now it's time for the night to play.

The Golden Days

Those were the golden days,
When I and my friends were together,
Enjoying every day full of joy and laughter.

When college canteen used to be
The most loved place,
For the food we ate
And the time we spent .

When bunking lectures
Used to be our favourite hobby .
And going on a short trips without friends,
Were like having sour grapes .

Those were the golden days
When our group of friends
Sat together ,
To enjoy a cup of tea and cigarettes,
And talk about life ,space and time.

Gone are those golden days,
The time we all spent together
Are now boxed memories
To be cherished forever.

A Psychedelic Dream

My eyes are closed,
Am I losing myself?
I am flying up towards the sky,
I now see the stars passing by.

I touch a star and it engulfs me,
I keep falling deep into it,
And reach a place
I am not supposed to be .

I now run on the space tracks,
And see a planet full of cracks.
A moon is flying by,
I sit on it like a fly .

Running in space
Is what I do,
And I don't even have a shoe .
I run towards the well of black light ,
The incoming rocks
Wants me to dodge or fight.

I see some glazed mushrooms nearby,
If I taste it I will die .
A mushroom gets into my mouth,
'I am going to die' is all I shout.

I then travel to the blue shining stone,
And touch it to get out
Of the danger zone.

I Want To

I want to travel to the mountains
Watch the clouds sail nearby ,
Feel the cool breeze passing by .

I want to travel to a riverside ,
Sit on a rock in the river,
And feel the water kissing my feet.
Watch the sunset or sunrise,
To see how the beautiful
A start and end can be.

I want to enjoy a day with soft rain
Sitting in the verandah,
With a cup of tea in my hand ,
And some music of my choice
Playing in the background.

I want to sit quietly on the terrace
And hear the birds sing their favourite song
All day long .
When the daylight turns off
And night makes a rise ,
I want to see the stars blinking
All the night .

All I want is to stay close to the nature
Where I can sit quietly ,
Listen to the nature's song
And feel the nature's love all day long.

I Sat On The River Bank

I sat on the river bank,
Dangling my feet in water,
To enjoy the sunset.
I could the feel the water
Kissing my feet.

I could feel the soft breeze
Passing by ,
Whispering in my ear
'This is your moment
Enjoy it dear.'

I could see the birds
Flying in synchronised manner
Back to their nest
So that they can rest .

I felt the nature's song ,
Lost myself in its beauty.
For me the moment was made,
I never wanted it to fade .

Closer came the endgame,
The sun slowly went down
To rise again.

I Am Responsible

Silence all around,
I feel a state of overthinking
Developing in my mind.
I start thinking about my past,
I begin with telling myself
That I am the only reason,
For some bad incidents of my past.
Frankly speaking,
I wasn't responsible for those incidents.
Still I blame myself .
I underestimate myself
In my overthinking state of mind ,
And I declare myself
The worst person ever.
I keep on thinking untill tears rolls down my cheeks.
And then suddenly,
I wipe off my tears
and put up a smile on my face .
