सुभाषितम्

खलः  सर्षप मात्राणि, पर च्छिद्राणि पश्यति |
आत्मनो बिल्व मात्राणि, पश्यन्न अपि न पश्यति ||

Wicked persons (खलः) see (पश्यति) even very small mustard seed like (सर्षप मात्राणि) faults (च्छिद्राणि) in others (पर) ,
whereas their own (आत्मनो) Very big faults like Bel fruit (बिल्व मात्राणि), Dekh ke bhi andekha karte hai (पश्यन्न अपि न पश्यति)
Such is the greatness of Fools

सुभाषितम्

कुसुमं वर्णसंपन्नं गन्धहीनं न शोभते।
न शोभते क्रियाहीनं मधुरं वचनं तथा॥

In spite of being very colourful, a flower is not adorned if it lacks fragrance. Similarly, mere sweet talk without any supporting action is not at all embellished

सिंहस्य क्रियते मृगैः।
विक्रम अर्जित राज्यस्य
स्वयमेव मृगेंद्रता ॥

Wild animals do not crown the lion through coronation (sprinkling holy water) and conducting certain rituals,
but He takes charge and kingship easily and simply by his skill

शरीर धर्म कोशेभ्यः क्षिप्रं स परिहीयते॥
