दिन बीत गए, दोस्तों से‌ मुलाकात किए।
अरसा हो गया अपने शब्दों से बात किए।
वक़्त का तकाज़ा है जनाब,
इसलिए खामोश हूं

मगर चहरे पर वो नूर न लाई।
यही तो असफलता है, इस मुस्कान की
जिसने इंतज़ार की इंतेहा न छुपाई।

एक बात है,
जिसकी खबर मझे हैं मगर पता तुम्हे नहीं।
मेरे ज़ेहन में है,लेकिन होठों पे नहीं।
लेकिन जो ये एक बात है,
एक एहसास है,
जो अभी भी बेआवाज है।

एक अधूरा गीत- सा है, जिसके
सुर है, मगर ताल नहीं,
अंतरा हैं, मगर मुखड़ा नहीं,
बोल हैं, मगर आवाज नहीं।

बेखबर है दुनिया अभी भी,
ऐसा ये एक राज़ हैं ।

But I don't know how to say,
There's too much to say
But not necessarily everything should be out.
Now, there's nothing to say
Because my throat has stuck the words
Or my soul doesn't allow me to expell it out.

मिल लिया करो कभी हम से भी।
