Poetry makes me believe,
That no stillness ever exists.
All the silence in the world,
Can be put into words,
That every existing thought,
Has a chance to be brought to life.
Poetry makes me believe,
That we poets will always have our own stances,
As many continue to belittle this gifted flair,
We'll continue to thrive,
As the world grows more and more silent.-
The ability to encode words in a poem is not just ... read more
To the closed windows,
That once witnessed,
What is now history,
To the closed windows,
That would have witnessed,
The world's greatest mysteries.-
In a land far from here,
Somewhere in a tiny village,
She lives all happy and content.
Her circumstances,
May limit her expression,
Her family,
May not notice her.
She may not be appreciated,
For the sacrifices she made.
But what makes this veiled woman
And many others like her stand out,
Is the,
Passion in their words,
And commitment in their actions.
Each day is as important as the previous,
Their responsibilities remain the same,
And so do they,
Consistent, stable , resolute,
Unflinched and undaunted,
By whatever comes her way.-
We are more,
Than just posing for photographs.
We are more,
Than the unaffected beings,
We pretend to be.
We are more,
Than pulling each other down.
We are more,
Than acting to be happy and sound.
We are more,
Than just a bunch of kids,
Who are stranded.
It's time we realize,
We are more,
Than just fake candids.
We are more,
Than just fake candids.-
Is about that one home,
I crossed yesterday
Far away from the glamour of the cities,
In which we usually stay.
Where heavy rains,
Have filled the roads and the drains.
Outside this house,
Lies a black torn mat ,
At the entrance of the gate.
As the waves of drainage water,
Touch it and run away,
This black torn mat,
I noticed,
Had 'Magic Moments' written on it.
A sight that will stay with me,
For all the coming days.
It's scary how small things,
Can change you in so many ways.-
We are all,
Like reflections on a window.
What we don't realize is that,
We don't need to watch
others and their actions,
When we can watch ourselves and learn,
Because you might be the reflection
that is inspiring someone,
To be something they never thought
would be possible.
We are all,
Like reflections on a window.-
Very important it is,
To keep yourself occupied,
With new experiences,
Surround yourself with new people,
Visit new places,
Experiment and experience with,
Whatever new comes your way.
To keep learning,
To stay fresh,
To stay inquisitive,
To stay young,
In mind and heart.
To keep the child within us alive,
To keep that kick and excitement going.-
As another,
Beautiful chapter of life,
Nears to end,
Another amazing journey,
Of love, friendships and fun,
Is about to conclude,
Another set of beautiful souls,
About to bid goodbyes,
Let us take a moment,
To see how we've evolved,
Into these amazing human beings.
The past three years of college,
Showing us a sneak peak,
Of the coming days,
About what life might be holding for us,
And of what all we have to offer.
Grateful for this lovely journey,
And even more,
For the beautiful people,
I could share this with.-
When you feel,
The world making no sense,
Things revolving around you,
But not for you,
Feeling lonely,
But crowded at the same time,
Overwhelming amount of work to do,
Yet lacking motivation to begin too.
It all might be the inner you,
Asking for a break for you.
A break to reconnect,
From whatever is going around.
A break to comprehend,
The self of yours that has eventually,
Somewhere drowned.
Take a break,
Know that the world,
Would still be there,
When you return,
Everything would just be fine.
The new you and your world,
Would now be more compatible,
Brighter will you shine.-
