Allow me to touch your lips like raindrops,
And to wash away your tears like the rain.
Let me hug you once like the water hugs the lonely ground;
Dissolving me in yourself not to let me go, ever.
Let the umbrella of all the other things diverting my mind
from you fall, to let me pull you and kiss your lips
under the cold sky.
Help me make this heart talk out the storm it's been
holding in to yours, between the outer storms and lightning.
Let the ocean in your eyes meet mine, to embrace the fading hopes.
Let this season be the start; to come back again, but beautiful.
Let me love you a little longer until the wind takes me away
and is then back again.
I won't leave my love but to remind you,
The monsoon will. I will still come as summers,
winters, spring and fall.
I'll still embrace you being the hot winds, snow,
the first blooms and a maple leaf;
For I want to love you in a way no one could,
To embrace you the way you deserve.
But this season, let me love you,
let me protect you as the little drops of love.
