TENNESSEE WHISKEY

you feel like a slow sip on a warm night,
smooth, deep, something to savor.
the kind of warmth,
that don't just sit on the tongue, but
settles deep, stays long after the last sip.

we take our time,
let the night wrap around us,
boots kicked up, voices low,
ice melting slow in the glass.

some loves burn too fast,
some fade too quick,
but you---you're poured slow, aged right,
something i'll never get enough of.

Oh! Mahadeva!
When I chant your name with my eyes close,
From me, the 'Tears of Ecstasy' flows.

You are a mystery, with no birth and death,
Where there's no start and end to your breath.

The human mind cannot perceive you, dear Shiva,
You are such a conundrum to understand for the Jeeva.

The serpent king to your neck that choke(s),
With the chillum in your hand you smoke,
The tiger-skin that you wear as a cloak,
Makes you an unconventional divine bloke.

Oh! Shiva, you love to abode on Kailash mountain,
With the Ganges on your head to form a fountain.

You are a fakir with sacred ash on your body and forehead,
Making your second home, the deathbed.

With your charm, you control the whole universe,
We, the humankind just acting to your scripted verse.

I bow and surrender to you with gratitude Oh Mahadeva!
Hail, Har Har Mahadeva! Har Har Mahadeva!!.

Have you ever felt you were just a speck?
A hopeless, broken wreck?
And fate hasn't been exactly kind to you,
Have you tried looking at a different point of view?

That that speck is an important piece,
Without, existence will just cease .
An important cog in the eternal machine,
You are valuable and everything in between.

You are the starlight to others, you may not know,
Live your life and let your energy flow,
A galaxy with a heart as big as a planet.
Your energy attracts good vibes like a magnet.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise,
Never dim the sparkle in your eyes.
Don't let negative energy drag you like a curse,
Because darling, you are the universe.

I'm always silently waiting
Hear my silent plea, anticipating 
The fuse was lit years ago 
And I think we know how this will go.

Inspiration creeps in between almost every
thought now.
Whispering between each breath 
Keeping beat between each thump of 
my heart in my chest.

I know you feel it 
I'm reeling from 
This immense intensity 
It's pressing me 
The density of passion 
Has my heart filled to capacity.

Is this
Love?

Even if a part of me
May start to be
Slower in motion.

Whether an artery
Or my pierced soul
From their archery
I will never claim broken.

From the scars carved
Like hardened trees
Yet the pain has not broke me.

As I Embark on this siege

Intoxicate
Life in a trance
Sufforcate my lungs
Disappate the weight
Disappearnce of my grave
Inhale the smoke
Exhale the hurt
Smoking till im gone
Starting at the break of dawn
Eyes low
Pupils barely show
Lost in a safe zone
Roll till i comatose
Fragrance grows
Mj throws contious blows
Sipping on the magical tea
In a jungle
Trees is all i see
The esccence allows me to breath
Puff of the herb to be free
Forgotten memories
No longer a casualty
Praying for the leaves to never leave
The pretty green bud captures me
No more leaks
The blood stops
Numb to the loss
Light the weed and take off.

The shatter of a heartbreak is
all-consuming loud
The ringing in your ears
might at first drown out
hope's sound.

But in the midst of sorrow
hope taste a little sweeter
It looks a little brighter,
feels a little freer.

Like sunlight breaking
through the dark on a
cloudy day.

Or rain relieving summer heat
though this sounds cliche.
But constant as your breathing,
staggered as it may be.

Hope is there no matter what
and that's love's guarantee.
So listen please beyond the
noise for that faithful song
Hold tight to that melody,
let hope carry you on.

To create, to preserve, to... destroy?


It would seem we all are Shiva,
Believing we are Vishnu,
Desiring to be Brahma.

But it is time for Shiva.

Shiva does not destroy the universe,
In the sense,
We know.

Shiva destroys the illusions,
To construct,
A clear picture of Vishnu,
And a state of Brahman.

A feeling that I do not belong here,
crowded places feel empty.

My soul disappears above the skies,
when I fall asleep.

Makes me wonder,
If I am even what I think ..

Madly in love,
with love.
Is there someone like me?

The soul that leaves me,
comes back with something,
that feeds my poetry.

So when I say to her “ I love you”,
It doesn't come from my heart,
but from the stars above the skies.

Life an unpredictable magician.
Pulling out of its hat
Surprises, shocks, griefs and heartbreaks
But the cycle has to complete
The trick is not over,
Till you offer your response,
The circuit has to complete.
Making life a game
Of actions and reactions.
As actions are mostly
Beyond your control.
The card that you hold is how you react,
Identify the cards.
That trigger anxiety, depression, despair
Modify the way you react.
One step at a time
Slowly and gradually,
Till they trigger you no more
What you have in your hands
Is how you respond
Their are only two ways to it
Either your control your reactions
Or they control you.
