বসন্তের আঙ্গিকে শিমুল পলাশে নেশায় মত্ত
দখিনা বাতাসে ফাগুন বৌ ও নৃত্যে রত,
বাগান বিলাস নিত্য নতুন রঙে সাজে
মুগ্ধ কপোত কপোতি প্রেম খোঁজে আঙুলের ভাঁজে ।

রঙিন আনন্দে মাতছে মন
নতুন সুরে গাইছে প্রেমের অবগাহন ,
বাতাসে মিশেছে যেন মহুয়ার নেশা
ঠোঁটের ভাঁজে ঠোঁট রেখে প্রেমিক মেটায় আজন্ম পিপাসা।
