Life is a dance of happiness and sorrow
Where the path looks wide but is narrow
No one knows what will happen tomorrow
And death takes toll full and wide in a row

So why bother and keep singing a song
Let's dance to the tune playing a gong
Where nothing is termed right or wrong
And keep it flowing where it truly belong

Like the constellation of stars and moon
Let's bright it with lantern's like a boon
And build our eternal world in a cocoon
Where there is no hailstorm and typhoon

With love let's erase hate that is spread
And live life happily to the fullest instead
Without fight's rehabilitate heart and head
And lead life in peace until we are dead

Love was ample the day when I was born
People watched me grow and began to adorn

Praises flowed from them were like sweetcorn
And slowly everything faded and got worn

Suddenly I was left in solitude and forlorn
And the fakes started to show up and scorn

Where some relations were too much stubborn
And I was just like someone who was lovelorn

You barely know that rose resides on thorn

मुकोटा ओढ़ कर कब तक यारा

चाहत भरी दिल में कोई तो सजना होता

शब की अंधेरों में यूँ महताब सा रोशन है
पर मोहब्बत से भरा कोई तो घटना होता

तरसा हूँ उम्र भर यूँ इज़हार-ए-इश्क़ को
पर तड़पते दिल में कोई तो बसना होता

यूँही पतझड़ में भी बहार आ जाए राजू
काश खुदा का बना कोई तो रचना होता

चाहा था इक हमसफ़र पर मिला न कोई
पतझड़ था जीवन और गुल खिला न कोई

चलता रहा मुसाफ़िर मोहब्बत की राह में
छाया अंधेरा था मगर दिखा उजाला न कोई

नशा-ए-उल्फ़त का भी क्या कहना है यारा
चड़ जाए ज़हन पर ऐसी मधुशाला न कोई

मंज़िल तो दूर थी और साहिल का पता नहीं
नाव बिन पतवार का, नज़ारा बदला न कोई

यूँही ख़्वाबों की आसमान में उड़ता रहा राजू
आशियाँ-ए-इश्क़ कहाँ मिला घोंसला न कोई

तेरे ख़्वाब-ए-इश्क़ का ही सहारा था यूँही
राह-ए-उल्फ़त में रह गया कुंवारा था यूँही

महफ़िल सजी थी, वो मेरा वहम था यारा
चारो तरफ़ पानी और दूर किनारा था यूँही

इंतज़ार था तेरा मुझे उस शब-ए-वस्ल में
जैसे पतझड़ के मौसम में बहारा था यूँही

तेरी ही मोहब्बत में न था कभी होश मुझे
बहूत दूर से ही सही तुझे निहारा था यूँही

अब ज़िन्दगी कट भी जाती है मगर राजू
जैसे ज़नाज़ा जो निकला हमारा था यूँही

यादों के सिलसिले में जब तुझे याद किया
तुम खुश रहे, उस दरबार में, फरियाद किया

जब न हो सका मिलन उस शब-ए-वस्ल में
तुझे इस दिल से सदा के लिए आज़ाद किया

थम गया वो महफ़िल-ए-इश्क़ भी मेरे यारा
जब बदनाम-ए-मोहब्बत कर विवाद किया

यूँही चल रहा है राही तन्हाई की उस राह पर
चख कर हर स्वाद तुमने जिसे बेस्वाद किया

बस अपने ही उसूलों के मोहताज हूँ मैं राजू
भुला ना सका उसे जिसने मुझे बर्बाद किया

तुम न आए कभी इश्क़ फ़िर दौराने के लिए

मासूम सा दिल है मेरा तोड़ो न तुम इसे कभी
तरसता रहा हर पल मिलन के बहाने के लिए

माना तेरा हुस्न का दीवाना ये सारा ज़माना है
पर वो गीत कहाँ है उल्फ़त के तराने के लिए

इंतज़ार है आज भी इक़रार-ए-मोहब्बत का
ढूंढ़ता है दिल तुम्हें महफ़िल सजाने के लिए

बस उसकी चाहत तो मुझमे उफान है राजू
इक़ सहारा न मिला दर्द को भुलाने के लिए
